Adventure Quest of the Quad Cities is proud to present the Midwest’s newest High and Low Ropes Team Building Challenge Course, professionally designed and built by a certified and recognized member of the ACCT (Association of Challenge Course Technology).

The course is set amidst gently rolling woodland hills and prairie, providing a natural outdoor challenge ... the experience of a lifetime. Our challenge course facilitators are professionally trained and certified and will guide your group safely through a program that includes a variety of activities or challenges interspersed with discussion to reinforce what has been learned and accomplished. Participants will be challenged physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.

The Philosophy: If a person is supported by his/her peers, co-workers, family and friends to be able to move outside his/her own 'comfort zone,' and successfully accomplishes the challenge, then powerful conditions exist for positive change.

The Low Ropes Courses are low to the ground and do not require the use of a belay, or rope safety system. The courses are comprised of a series of challenges, gradually becoming more difficult, that physically engage teams to develop and execute a plan. Each member of the team is counted on for ideas, support for fellow members, and his/her effort. These challenges are more difficult than they look, but through each accomplishment, the members acquire a higher level of personal and interpersonal effectiveness and create cohesive, effective teams.

The High Ropes Courses feature an 800-ft. Zip Line, which is accessed by a 45-ft. climb to a platform atop a pole. The participant will have unforgettable ride, flying 800 feet from hilltop to hilltop.

The High Ropes Courses will challenge each team member to go well beyond perceived boundaries and achieve success both individually and as an integral part of the team. Each participant will be motivated to set goals, solve problems, gain trust, build confidence, and give and receive support.

Participants wear approved climbing harness and helmets and are protected by the belay rope system. Interaction is encouraged on the high elements by having team members control the belay system and provide support for the climbers and established trust, which is critical to productive teams.

High Ropes obstacles available are:

Balance Log, Grape Vine, Pirate Crossing, Postmans Walk, Leap of Faith, Flying Squirrel, 800-Foot Zip Line.

Low Ropes obstacles available are:

Tension Traverse, Wild Woosy, Spider Web, Trust Fall, Grape Vine, Mohawk Walk, Ten-Foot Wall.
